My block is inspired by Florida's bright blue fall skies, brilliant orange sunsets, and dark and lovely nights! I used McCall's Star Burst Pattern. Isn't it a beautiful design. My block is 12.5" and I'll probably add a little border and make a nice center piece block for my kitchen table. :)

ReplyDeleteOh my what a beautiful block!!! It does REALLY match your picture of the Florida Sunset!! Do you by chance know what the names are for the fabrics that you used. I love the combination of the colors and the very pretty paisley print in the center really does POP!! I've actually found that I'm really drawn to paisleys lately and this one set I would love to add to my stash. Thank You for sharing and the chance to win such yummy fabrics. Also new Follower.

ReplyDeleteI love the colors in the block. Blue is my favorite color. The orange just makes the block very interesting and picks up the little tinge of orange in the center. I spent one summer in FL and was amazed at the amount of rain where I was. I think it rained every day - hard for a short period of time. The sunsets were beautiful. I am a new follower.
