Not long ago I discovered the Bear Paw Pattern while roaming the internet for inspiration. To me it looks more like a pretty flower than the claw of a bear. I really like it. I can't wait to make some more blocks. Have you ever tried the Bear Paw? There are some really pretty patterns out there and I want to try them all. This particular size variation came from Craft and Fabric Links; the final block is 14.5" square.
And what has Mr. MaoMao been up to??? Well, let's just say he's been trying on Little Ladybug's doll clothes. ;) Such a silly boy.

Nice job on the Bear Paw..I've done many of those for large quilts....they look great
ReplyDeleteI've always loved the Bear Paw block. I always say I'm going to make a quilt of Bear Paw and use up my stash. MaoMao looks like he's having fun! My daughter used to dress our cat in baby clothes and give him rides in a baby stroller. He never complained. Kind of funny though!
ReplyDeleteI have made a couple of bear paw quilts and have always liked this block. Very classic, and so much fun to make!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful block and it has always been one of my favorites! Thanks for sharing.
