I just finished up another baby quilt. She's 36"x 48" and just so darling. Last year my mom gave me a magazine 'Love of Quilting'(March/April 2013) and this pattern was on the front cover. It was designed by Mary Fons and was called Emerals (Her quilt had shades of green). I'm thinking that I'll do this pattern again with maybe violet and charcoal or Navy with reds and yellows and oranges, so many possibilities!
It's sunny and warm outside and I hope to do a lot of playing outside with the kids this weekend. Maybe I'll even take them to the pool; the water will be way to cold for me but my little waterbugs probably wont care a bit.
I hope that your weekend is full of beautiful sunshine and lots of laughter. -April @Little Mama Hen.
Hi April,
ReplyDeletecan you tell me the name of the pattern you used for that beautiful baby quilt.... it looks familiar but I cant remember where I might have seen it.
Thanks,
Tina....in the chilly North of England!
Great Question Tina! I'll update my post and add that information. Thanks for stopping by. :) -April
DeleteHow in the world did you finish it sooooo fast? You are a supergirl when it comes to sewing!
ReplyDeleteReally pretty - super work! I look forward to seeing the other colour combo's you propose!
ReplyDeleteI really like the way you put the blocs side by side, without anything in between. It look mysterious!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a pretty quilt! It looks really sun shiny and springy.
